Life’s a Beach – Vacationing in a Class C Motorhome

Class C Motorhome When I made the decision to purchase a motorhome, I set out to find exactly what I wanted and needed in one unit.  I knew it was going to be a major purchase so I wanted it to be a wise one as well.

In looking over the information available online, I was beginning to feel overwhelmed.  Then I found the Motorhome Comparison Guide by RVReviews.com, this site made all the difference in the world.  All the information I needed was at my fingertips.  The site has unbiased and honest reviews by JR Consumer Resources LTD, which have been conducting research for over 10-years, that I found to be very helpful.

I decided upon a brand-new Class C motorhome, a 31-foot Jamboree, manufactured by Fleetwood.  Prior to discovering the site and motorhome buyers guide, I didn’t even know the difference between a Class A, B and C motorhome but with the goldmine of information I had with the guide, I was able not only to decide that a Class C best suited me but also to find the exact make and model that was the best fit for me personally.

I am elated with my new Jamboree.  It has two queen beds and two twins so it easily accommodates myself, my wife and two young children.  It has all the bells and whistles.  It’s built very durable and looks incredibly sleek.  The living area is very spacious too.  We are able to tow our car along because it allows for a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.  That feature was a requirement for us because we knew we’d want to venture out into the cities we visited and driving a big motorhome around to see the museums and other attractions would not be practical.

south padre island tripOur first trip was to South Padre Island.  We were able to park very close to the beach because the motorhome has a cabin chassis system.  There were other motorhome vacationers in the area of the beach we went to too so we started our own little Motorhome Club and vowed to keep in touch.  Funny how there’s a built-in comradery among RV owners.

Finding the information on the site was invaluable to me in my search for the motorhome that best suited my needs.  I can’t stress enough how important it is to know the facts and features about RVs BEFORE heading out to look at them.  Being informed ahead of time helps prevent impulse buying.  Purchasing a motorhome is a big step so I’m glad to know I made a great investment.
