A.C.E Motorhome A Spacious Interior for A Smaller Coach
Many good products are the outcome of consumers who know what they want and the Thor A.C.E. Class A motorhome is just that kind of result. Newly introduced in 2010, the A.C.E., also known as the Class A & C Evolution, won Best of Show when introduced at the annual National RV Trade Show. It is the answer to consumer’s demand for a shorter, fuel efficient, amenity packed motorhome. Blending the lines of Class A and Class C motorhomes, the A.C.E. Class A gas powered motorhome is constructed with new innovative features partially derived from input by both dealers and customers.
Early in 2011, after just one year, the A.C.E. EV029 floorplan rose to number 3 for retail sales early in 2011. The enclosed bathroom of the EV029 model is just one feature that made this model very popular and the floorplan was soon followed by two more. The A.C.E. series currently has a total of four floorplans that range in length from 38’ 7” to 30’ 10”. The amenities are many, some of which are usually found only as options in other coaches. The A.C.E. motorhomes are constructed with materials that make the coach family and pet friendly, with easy to clean floors and furniture.
For 2013 Thor Motor Coach (TMC) added another model to the A.C.E. Class A gas coach series. The A.C.E. 27.1 floorplan is the compact coach for TMC’s A.C.E. motorhome line and measures an easy-to-maneuver 28 feet, seven inches in length. It has a private king-size bed sleeping area that is part of the full wall-slideout. Another floorplan, the A.C.E. 29.2 is popular for its slide-out that provides a large living area. It feels spacious, has huge amounts of storage, boasts a mud room entrance, and has an electric patio awning. Base 2013 MSRPs range from around $92,000 to $97,000.
The A.C.E. is not only luxurious inside; it has a classy exterior look too with the option of the HD-MAX (high definition) exterior color packages. The HD-MAX offers buyers more choices of full colored gel-coat finishes that give the look of a full-body paint exterior and can save as much as $8,500 over the full-body paint process.
