Cardinal Fifth Wheel Facts You Need to Know

Forest River RV Cardinal Fifth Wheel

fifth-wheel-rv-reviewsForest River RV manufactures many recreations vehicle products, several lines of fifth wheels, lite fifth wheels, and toy hauler fifth wheels. The Forest River Cardinal is one of their basic fifth wheels, yet so elegant and exquisitely designed that when you step inside you feel as if you were in a home rather than a fifth wheel RV. These units are also beautiful to look at on the outside, as they have five paint options to choose from, two as standard finishes with graphics, and three models with full-body paint colors.

The Forest River RV Cardinal Fifth Wheel is designed to be fixed and towed by a pickup truck equipped with a special hitch in the truck bed. They have a one piece roof and are constructed with 4.5” double radius aluminum trusses and R-21 fiberglass insulation.

The Cardinals have a bi-level floorplan that raises the master bedroom over the truck bed. Most of the floorplans have a large picture window at the rear of the fifth wheel and large and luxurious living quarters, along with slideouts providing extra living and sleeping areas.
