XLR Toy Hauler | Reviews by RVReviews.Net
Forest River, Inc. manufactures several lines of recreational vehicles, including travel trailers, lite travel trailers, and toy hauler trailers. The Forest River XLR is their Extended Living Recreations – a line designed specifically for their toy haulers and travel trailers. Originating in 2007, the XLR trailer models were created to offer style and comfort while providing a rugged unit for those with active outdoor lifestyles.
The XLR is offered in four brands as a toy hauler, the Nitro, the Hyper Lite, the Viper Series, and the Thunderbolt. It is also built in three travel trailer models, the Nitro, the Hyper Lite, and the Viper Series. Every floorplan of each XLR model has been designed to provide room for all your toys and accommodate the necessities of an active lifestyle. The combined number of available floorplans, from the XLR fifth wheels to the XLR toy hauler travel trailer, is thirty-five, giving you plenty of plans to choose from.
These travel trailers and fifth wheels trailers are filled with the same amenities that most of Forest River’s trailers include. Elegant décor choices, rich wood, solid counters and cabinets are part of the interior style that gives you a comfortable, luxurious environment, despite the trailer being built rugged for the outdoor enthusiast.
The XLRs have a wide variety of exterior lengths, from “lites” to the heavy toy haulers, spanning in lengths from 23’ to 43’, and up to three slideouts for additional interior living or sleeping areas. The Forest River XLRs have a wide range of GVRWs (Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings) to help you choose what model best fits your towing needs. The XLRs include the basics such as full bathroom with a sink, shower, toilet, (some models have tubs), an entertainment center, a sofa/dinette full slide, queen bed, night stands, double kitchen sink, 2 or 3-burner ranges, microwave, refrigerator, wardrobe closets and much more.
The XLR Toy haulers have rear ramp doors with a Spring Assist to allow easy loading and unloading of your recreation toys such as dirt bikes, canoes, snowmobiles, and ATVs.
